Rose with a Mission

Today, I pray that you know the love and joy that Christ has given us to a greater degree. He has been so good to me this week and this Christmas season. I'm grateful for His love, compassion, and provision in my life.  Because of ya'lls generosity I'm now at 44% of my tuition raised! Thank you! I'm thrilled about seeing God move through many of you. I'm praying and seeking His direction for when I should go to the School of Evangelism. While there is part of me that I would like to go back as soon as possible, I want God's best over my preference.   Hello Friends.  This week has been a great one for me. For the first time in a long time I've been able to rest. Not just take a much needed break before I get to the a million and one things to do on my list or run to class. I've been able to take some deep breathes, enjoy Christmas lights, take some long walks, watch a couple of movies, have some good times with Jesus and family, and have long phone calls with Marisa and Joanna. It has been so good to be able to slow down a bit and just enjoy some things. This Tuesday we took our annual family trip down to San Antonio. It was so fun to see the missions and Riverwalk again. Plus I got to enjoy a lot of time with my awesome family.  It's hard to believe that Christmas is next week! I feel like this year it came so fast, maybe because I have been traveling so much. Today I'm cleaning my room, decorating for Christmas, and packing in preparation for my flight tomorrow! It's hard to believe that I'm flying out for a two week film school in a matter of hours. I've got my bags mostly packed and my boarding pass ready to go!  The last few days I've been getting more excited about this. When I first heard about this filmmaking course I thought that there was no way I could go. It was during holiday break. I don't have the money for the plane ticket. I'll only have been back from DTS for two weeks. And so my logic went on. And then God encouraged me to keep the option on the table. I had someone donate enough for me to buy a plane ticket. God provided me with a host home and transportation. Everything came together and I'm grateful God gave me the opportunity to get back into filmmaking.  I've been able to decorate a little bit more using things that I got during DTS.
